The Royal Road To The Success- indicated in the Bhagwat Gita
The Royal Road To The Success- indicated in the Bhagwat Gita
The only
misunderstanding about the Bhagwat Gita that has alienated many sincere seekers
is that it only promises enlightenment and tells us to leave the world and its
joys.
While the Gita speaks
of self-realization, it also enables you to enjoy life to the fullest, achieve
remarkable achievements in the world and happiness. It gives dominion over
oneself and the world. It allows you to live like a king, not like a beggar.
Like a winner, not a victim.
Free yourself from
the persecution of the world and become the owner of the universe. Live like a king
discovering the royal secret: knowing his own power. The world then becomes
your playground. You will enjoy every moment of your life and you will gain
inner strength and growth.
Krishna assures the
aspiring worker both enlightenment and worldly success. The Bhagwat Gita does
not promise vague post-mortem happiness. The benefits can be reaped here and
now for material prosperity, happiness, and spiritual growth. The emphasis is
on the consistency of thought and the consistency of application. Everything you do,
everything you perceive, offer, give or seek, do it as an offering to God. Then
every ordinary act becomes worship. You will be freed from the bondage of
actions that produce good and bad results.
Unaware of their
potential, the deluded ignore the mind, let the world overtake them, and waste
their lives searching for small and insignificant toys. They condemn themselves
to repeated births and deaths, which bring misery and suffering. The Mahatmas,
great souls anchored in the higher goal, determinedly worship the spirit. They
dedicate all actions to a higher ideal: Karma Yoga. They cultivate a love for all
beings: Bhakti Yoga. They are determined in their search until the goal is
reached: Jnana Yoga. Then you achieve complete freedom from the pairs of
opposites in the world. Therefore, worship is a constant effort to unite with
Atman, not an occasional and occasional prayer or ritual.
Spiritual evolution
is not the exclusive privilege of a select few. Krishna accepts even the evillest
people, the rajasic, passionate and tamasic, lethargic, and offers them
liberation. No one will be disqualified as long as they choose the correct
path. Everyone has access to the end goal. It is easier for the highly refined
and spiritually evolved to get there. With a cheerful mind and a sharp
intellect, they understand the world as Anitya, ephemeral and Asukha, without
joy. They know that they inherit true and lasting happiness.
Krishna ends by
summarizing the entire spiritual path in one verse. Center your thoughts on me
- Jnana Yog. The intellect sets the realization as the goal and keeps the
thoughts focused there. Be my devotee - Bhakti Yoga. Feel the ideal, pour out
your heart to God. Devotion helps calm the mind. It allows you to face the
trials of the world with force. Sacrifice for me - Karma Yog. Act in a spirit
of sacrifice and service for the benefit of humanity. Dedicate your actions to
the goal. Bow down to me, dissolve your ego. Put your head and your heart at
the feet of the Lord. Then you should come with me as your highest goal.
The law is - "as
you think, so shall you do." People are changing their lifestyle, their
clothes, and their food. They even move to an ashram or the Himalayas. But just
pay attention to your thoughts that are still in the world. The only thing you
need to change is your thoughts. Raise your thoughts to the spirit and the world
will be at your feet. The additional benefits of spiritual life are material
success and happiness.
