Is Freedom From Karma Possible?
Is Freedom From Karma Possible?
As of late, a companion remarked that karma doesn't generally return to us right away however stays nearby for some time. It isn't similar to a Mastercard organization monitoring charges and installments every month. That is the reason we want an 'Expert Card' to assist us with managing our karma over many lives. The 'Expert Card' is the master: God's representative acting in this world to direct every spirit to opportunity.
Another companion related a fantasy he once had. In it, he was strolling along an ocean side with a kid's plastic bucket and digging tool in his grasp. Out of nowhere happened upon a colossal hill of tarlike dark material, and he realize that this was the previous karma that he should eliminate to be free. He started arduously to work on the tacky hill, filling his little bucket just mostly after much exertion.
He persevered at the undertaking, when, nearly at the purpose of surrendering, he heard an uproarious racket coming from the opposite side of the gigantic heap before him. Rapidly rushing to see what was making the commotion, he saw his master on an excavator with a tremendous can, blissfully gathering up huge amounts of the 'tar-mama' and tossing it into the ocean.
Independently, the undertaking of eliminating our previous karma appears to be almost inconceivable. In any case, we should genuinely do our part.
A beat supporter down once told Paramhansa Yogananda that functioning out the entirety of our karma appeared to be sad, that "one should take a stab at quieting the waves on the sea."
Yoganandaji replied: "It is a challenging task, I award you. All things considered; it isn't anywhere near so exceptionally troublesome as it looks. Would could it be that makes the waves on the ocean rise and fall in any case? It's the breeze. Without wind, the surface develops quietly consequently. Also, when the tempest of daydream lessens in the brain, the rushes of activity and response die down consequently. What you should do is as yet the floods of your psyche by profound contemplation. Then, in contemplation, free yourself of the awareness of self-image contribution."
Keeps the waves crashing the breeze. The breeze is the breath. In the Bhagwad Gita, Arjun tells Krishn that the psyche is fretful and more challenging to control than the breeze. Krishn answers that it very well may be constrained by yog practice and mental dispassion. The more profound significance of this section is that by quieting the breath, through pranayama and reflection, we oversee our psyche and rise above inner self-ID. The seeds of our karma could then not find at any point soil in which to flourish in our awareness.
Here is a strategy for utilizing the breath to defeat past karma:
1) Breathe in profoundly and concentrate all your energy at the point between the eyebrows.
2) Feel that you are consumed with extreme heat issues, persistent vices, negative considerations, or inclinations — products of your past karma.
3) Breathe out totally. Keep your breath out as long as you can serenely. Feel totally free inside yourself.
4) When you take it in once more, consider a positive picture or memory, and let it fill your brain.
5) Rehash this multiple times in succession. Practice this day to day until you feel a delivery from some karmic trouble.
Act with the prospect that God is the Practitioner. Desireless activity is the pathway to opportunity.
Krishn tells a hesitant Arjun that he should face the looming conflict of good against evil. He makes sense of that by the magnanimous activity we are having our impact in this world and satisfying our predetermination. "Consequently, endeavor reliably during the presentation, everything being equal, whether physical or profound, to act without connection. By action without personal responsibility, one accomplishes the Incomparable."
The beauty of the Master, contemplation and breath control, activity without connection to the outcomes — these are the keys to defeating karma. In these ways, we can eliminate the hill of our past karma and make the way for soul opportunity.
